Luzhou Supper Map: The Few Streets Still Open Late

2026-08-24 — Luzhou

Four streets cover Luzhou. Desheng Street's temple-front market runs to around midnight; Sanmin Road is the easiest to reach, sitting directly over the MRT; Zhongyuan and Changrong roads hold the izakaya cluster; Jixian Road serves the late shift. NT$200 to NT$500 a head, walkable from Luzhou and Sanmin Senior High School stations, last trains around midnight.

Luzhou is not large, but it is not short of late-night food either. The difference is that its options sit on four streets — learn those four and you will not circle the lanes.

Desheng Street: the temple loop

Luzhou Night Market wraps around Yonglian Temple at No. 96 Desheng Street, the oldest and densest loop in the district. Stalls run to around midnight and there is footfall on weekdays too, so no need to save it for the weekend.

Prices sit at NT$200 to NT$300 a head. The logic differs from a large night market: the footprint is small, one pass covers it, and no route planning is required.

Sanmin Road: the main street on the line

Luzhou station sits beneath No. 386 Sanmin Road and Sanmin Senior High School station beneath No. 105 — the whole road is effectively built over the MRT, making it the easiest street in the district to reach.

Mi Charcoal Yakiniku Bar (Luzhou Sanmin) at No. 121 has over 3,600 reviews and fronts the street; Jiuzelang Yakitori Izakaya at No. 150 and Muyue Health House at No. 569 sit on the same road.

Arriving by MRT, start here.

Zhongyuan and Changrong: the izakaya belt

To sit down with a drink, the weight is on these two.

Niaoshao Japanese Izakaya (Luzhou) at No. 207 Changrong Road has passed three thousand reviews, while Xirui Foot Wellness at No. 663 and Yucen Foot Wellness at No. 327 mean you can eat and then be worked on without leaving the street. On Zhongyuan Road, Wuji Charcoal Izakaya at No. 49, Laochuanjiao Izakaya (Luzhou) at No. 26 and Pinye Modern Izakaya at No. 53 crowd into one short stretch, so changing venue takes a few steps.

That’s ok at No. 34 Guangrong Road is one of the district’s few bistro-line venues, with a thousand-plus reviews. Full list in Luzhou’s izakayas and bars.

Jixian Road: the late-shift street

Qixidi Yakitori Izakaya (Jixian) at No. 216 and Father Wu Wellness House (Jixian Road) at No. 212 are the two fixed points here — eat, then be worked on — which suits people who finish work late.

Phuket Thai Relax House at No. 6, Lane 118 Ren’ai Street carries over eleven hundred reviews on the Thai line, and Liangzuyuan Foot Massage keeps branches at No. 241 Minzu Road and No. 165 Heping Road. More in Luzhou massage and spa.

Route and retreat

Two stops is the comfortable Luzhou rhythm: one round at the temple market, a drink on Zhongyuan or Changrong, forty minutes on the table to finish. Walking plus one short ride, no district crossing.

Last trains around midnight; after that flag a cab, since Sanmin Road runs all night. Drivers should stay out of the temple lanes, where towing is active. If you drank, take a designated driver.

To compare neighbours, Sanchong and Luzhou massage and the Luzhou temple night follow on; district coordinates are in the Luzhou guide.

FAQ

FAQ

01

How late does the temple-front market run?

Until around midnight, densest around Yonglian Temple, and busy on weekdays too. For later than that, move to Sanmin and Zhongyuan roads, where izakayas and stir-fry kitchens outlast the stalls.

02

What does supper cost in Luzhou?

NT$200 to NT$300 a head at the market; NT$400 to NT$500 for skewers and a drink at an izakaya; around NT$600 for forty minutes of foot massage. Consistently below Taipei for the same standard.

03

Where are the izakayas concentrated?

Zhongyuan Road, Changrong Road and Sanmin Road. Those three carry the highest density in the district and sit within ten minutes of each other on foot or by short ride, so a two-stop evening runs smoothly.

04

Is it manageable without a car?

Yes. Luzhou and Sanmin Senior High School stations on the Zhonghe–Xinlu line open directly onto the main streets, last trains around midnight. Lanes near the temple are hard to park in, so the MRT is genuinely easier.

05

How does Luzhou compare with Sanchong?

Luzhou is more concentrated — one loop around the temple covers most of it — while Sanchong is larger and more scattered. Same MRT line, fifteen minutes apart, so crossing over for a second round is easy.
